With both of Brandon’s parents serving in the Navy, Brandon strongly desired to continue the military tradition in his family and serve his country honorably. After graduating from Baruch College, Brandon enlisted in the Coast Guard and shortly after completed Officer Candidate School. After becoming a commissioned officer, Brandon served on the CGC Hamilton as the Combat Information Center and Communications Officer during his first officer tour and the Branch Chief of Finance Business Administration and Operations at the Coast Guard Finance Center during his final tour.

After four years of serving the military on active duty, Brandon left the Coast Guard to pursue law school. Brandon chose Notre Dame Law School because he was drawn to the law school’s Catholic tradition, culture, and the ability to continue serving a higher purpose. Notre Dame Law School’s “Different Kind of Lawyer” philosophy spoke lengths to Brandon, and he hopes to embody that philosophy to its greatest lengths while serving God.
