CJ was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant from the United States Military Academy in 2017. He graduated with a BS in American History and knew he always wanted to return to the Academy to serve, teach, and mentor Cadets just as his professors had done for him.

Having attended a Catholic high school and learning about Notre Dame’s charge for its graduates to be a Force for Good, CJ knew Notre Dame was the only choice for his graduate studies. CJ is currently enrolled as an Active-Duty Graduate Student with the History Department, and upon graduation, he will return to West Point to serve as an instructor in the Military History Division.
