David Severance

David is from Dayton, Ohio and attended undergrad at The Ohio State University. David served with 2d Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, the mobile and man portable surface-to-air weapons component of the Marine Air Ground Task Force. He served in various roles but most enjoyed his time as a platoon commander, where he was given the opportunity to enhance his leadership skills and learn invaluable lessons from the Marines he had the privilege of leading.

 

In 2023, David left the service and set his sights on continuing his education. David chose to pursue an MBA at Notre Dame because the mission of "growing the good in business" and contributing positively to the community greatly appealed to him. He is an enthusiastic sports fan and looks forward to supporting the football and hockey programs as well as participating in recreational sports with his fellow classmates.
