Kevin Bursaw

Biography

Maj Kevin M Bursaw is a transitioning Active Duty T-6A Instructor Pilot instructing student pilots from 14 different NATO nations at the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program at Sheppard AFB, TX. Prior to this, he was a KC10A Aircraft Commander with 110 combat missions over 5 deployments in the CENTCOM AOR for Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. Overall, Maj Bursaw has amassed over 2200 military flight hours.

Additionally, he has completed several degrees while on Active Duty, (MBA, University of Miami, 2020 and Doctor of Education in Aviation and Space Education, Oklahoma State University, 2022), while continuing to fly. Maj Bursaw earned his commission from Purdue ROTC in 2013 and graduated from Laughlin AFB, TX in 2015, where he met his wife, Maj Candita Bursaw. They share three children, Chiara, Giada, and Rhys.
