Undergraduate Student Veteran, Aerospace Engineering Major – Class of 2024
Born in central New Jersey and raised in Ecuador, Jhordan was approached by a United States Marine Corps Recruiter during his senior year in high school. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Marine Corps as an aircraft mechanic.
While in the service, his interest in aerospace grew beyond the scope of the aircraft systems he worked on. After completing his second enlistment in the Marine Corps, Jhordan felt called to pursue an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering.
After learning about the faculty, facilities, and community at the University of Notre Dame, he knew that Notre Dame was the best place for him.
