Deb Notturno-Strong

Deb Strong is an incoming Executive Master of Nonprofit Administration (EMNA) student at the University of Notre Dame. A first-generation college graduate from Massachusetts, she comes from a proud military family whose combined service—including her father, her husband Jay, and her own—spans more than 70 years. Deb retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, where she commanded the 7th Medical Support Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base before transitioning to academia as an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

She also serves as President of Operation Brown Bag, a nonprofit dedicated to serving food-insecure children and vulnerable seniors in rural West Texas, and looks forward to expanding her impact through the Notre Dame community.
