Jonathan Lu

Master Sergeant (Ret.) Jonathan Lu is a retired U.S. Army Green Beret and a 2020 Tillman Scholar through the Pat Tillman Foundation. He concluded more than 20 years of military service in 2024 as the Senior Enlisted Medical Advisor for 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

While on active duty, Jon earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health from George Washington University, and a doctorate in Clinical Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. He is now a member of the Class of 2027 in the University of Notre Dame’s Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship Excellence Master’s (ESTEEM) program and will subsequently pursue an Executive MBA at the Mendoza College of Business beginning in 2027. He remains committed to serving his communities through entrepreneurship, education, and healthcare workforce innovation.
