Jordan Blackman

Jordan Blackman is from Los Angeles, California. He attended Saint Genevieve High School, where he played varsity football, earned recognition as a Catholic Education Foundation Scholar, and graduated as the Class of 2017 valedictorian with a 4.83 GPA. During his senior year, he served as Student Body President and was elected team captain of both the football and track & field teams, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and service.
In 2021, Jordan graduated from and was commissioned through the United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Psychology and co-authored three scientific journal publications in Human Factors Engineering. While at West Point, he was a leader on the Army football team and served as a cadet ambassador for the Leadership, Ethics, and Diversity in STEM Program.
Following graduation, Jordan served as an Armor officer in the United States Army. His assignments included Armor Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Regimental Adjutant with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Irwin, California. He concluded his active-duty service in May 2026 with the rank of Captain.
Jordan is currently an MBA candidate in the Class of 2028 at the Mendoza College of Business. His late mother, Lisa Pierfax, instilled in him the importance of integrity, a value that strongly influenced his decision to pursue an MBA at Notre Dame. He was drawn to the program’s emphasis on integrity, service to others, and ethical leadership in business.
Jordan’s younger brother, Kai, is a rising First Class Cadet at Culver Academies. As he continues his own journey at Notre Dame, Jordan looks forward to contributing to the growth of the Mendoza community while supporting and mentoring his brother through the next chapter of his life.
