Nate Burchess

Nate Burchess is from Elkton, Maryland and enlisted in the Air Force at 19, training as an Arabic linguist at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California before serving as an Airborne Cryptologic Language Analyst aboard the RC-135 Rivet Joint. He spent most of his eight years with the 488th Intelligence Squadron in England, deploying three times and ultimately leading a team of 14 aircrew as a Staff Sergeant. While serving, he earned his degree in Arabic from Pennsylvania Western University.

 

After separating in 2024, Nate chose to attend Notre Dame Law School for its commitment to educating "a different kind of lawyer." He and his wife, a medical student, live in Michigan with their coonhound, Penny.
