Skyler Awisus

Skyler Awisus was medically retired from the U.S. Space Force in 2024. He served as a space operations officer in the Air Force and Space Force after commissioning from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2015. While at the Academy, Skyler competed as a student-athlete on the men’s gymnastics team.

Following his medical retirement, Skyler returned to the world of college athletics as Executive Assistant to the Athletic Director at Butler University, supporting strategic initiatives and organizational leadership. Skyler’s grandfather played football at Notre Dame after returning from WWII and he is proud to follow in his footsteps as part of Notre Dame’s military and veteran community
