The University of Notre Dame was selected by U.S. Veterans Magazine as a 2018 "Top Veteran-Friendly School." The list includes Duke, Vanderbilt, and Cornell - 175 schools total. "This is the first time we've received this distinction and was predicated by our recent military-veterans efforts," said Regan Jones, Director of the Office of Military & Veterans Affairs. I'm grateful for the support of Father Jenkins, Tom Burish, Laura Carlson, and the university community."
The selection of colleges & universities is based on surveys and market research. Here's a link to the U.S. Veteran Magazine press release and the issue recognizing Notre Dame's achievement will hit newsstands mid-August.
