The RouteND program at the University of Notre Dame's Office of Military and Veterans Affairs (OMVA) supports transitioning service members by providing a clear academic pathway and fostering relationships with the Notre Dame community.

Registration and Eligibility

Learn who is eligible for the RouteND program and how to complete the registration process.

  • Who Can Register:
    • Notre Dame ROTC alumni (Classes of 1984-2024)
    • Notre Dame alumni currently serving on Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserves
  • How to Register: Complete the RouteND Ambassador registration via Google Forms.

Program Goals

This program aims to recruit, mentor, and create a community for enlisted service members transitioning to academic life.

  • Recruitment: Attract enlisted service members with strong academic potential and a commitment to service.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance throughout the application process for a smooth transition to academic life.
  • Community Building: Create a supportive network of alumni and current students to foster a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities

As an ambassador in the RouteND program, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute in these meaningful ways:

  • Mentorship: Offer one-on-one mentorship.
  • Resource Sharing: Provide information and resources from OMVA.
  • Encouragement: Support and motivate applicants throughout the process.
  • Nomination: Submit nomination forms and arrange meetings with ND OMVA representatives.
